here are some of my thoughts:
lines are mostly imposed on nature by man.
I'm not sure whether I would consider this a line.
this is not a trail (after magritte)
is it a scar or a wound.
it's a section of organization.
it's a contrast of intentions—mine and god's.
the visual has its greatest impact when viewing it from the center.
straight lines are difficult.
large stick and stone with line
here are some thoughts:
some lines are straighter than others.
lines can come be presence or absence.
this piece is combining present and absent lines.
this is not the same as positive and negative space.
many lines make much noise.
no lines make much space and either a sense of no depth or infinite depth.
there can be lines within lines—thick lines and less thick lines.
tiny monolith (half-wet)
lines can be a beginning—a small and long cavity that grows.
this is why we sometimes fear lines.
we sometimes fear lines.
lines show direction.
stone and approaching stick
we look at spots on a line.
we cannot take a whole line in at once.
the way we look at lines matches the way we experience time.
time is a thick line that we pass along, an infinitely thick line.
lines are seen from a lateral point.
lines become spots if viewed from the right point.
maybe all points are lines and vice versa.
